We started off the night with some yummy dishes featuring veggies from Three Part Harmony Farm. The farm’s December CSA share is now available! Donations of horchata and chips were made by Taqueria D.F. We definitely ate well so thanks to all the farm workers, food producers and volunteers involved!
The night was also special for the photos and videos of past actions. One of the videos we watched featured some DC Fair Fooders breaking up with Wendy’s last February, even trampling on hearts! So cute!
It reminded us all of the importance of the donations made in order to send the next wave of leaders to el Encuentro, the 2016 CIW leadership conference in Florida. If you didn’t get the chance to donate last night, please do so! Youth are our future and they will ensure that the Fair Food program continues to grow
With DJs, Alfredo Castro and Lupedeluxe, mixing all night and a very sturdy piñata, we managed to have a good time! Thanks for joining us and we hope to see you at the Spring Action!
